I did some search on Maffetone Method and bumped into his website. HIs opinion regarding maximal heart rate is quite interesting. According to Maffetone training at low intensity is more beneficial than pushing yourself every time you train.

Maffetone method seems to be quite popular among runners, and there are lots of testimonials where running slower during training resulted in faster race times.

  1. So, I'm working through primal endurance, which relies on the Maffetone formula, and I was wondering if I could get some volume in with GS to save time running. Do you have any insights?
